FACILITIES

Classrooms:

There are three classrooms to accommodate students admitted in each year. The rooms are well ventilated with adequate lighting system, portable white board and arrangement of audiovisual aids with Comfortable Seating arrangement in each class room.

Library:

Comfortable seating arrangements for the students and teachers with proper lighting. We have sufficient number of almirah for proper storing of books, magazines etc. We provide new edition reference books, text books, magazines, nursing journals and daily news paper for the students.

Laboratories:

The School is equipped with Six well maintained Lab according INC norms. These labs are 1. Nursing Practice Lab. 2. Community Health Nursing and Nutrition lab. 3. Advance Nursing Skill lab. 4. Computer lab. 5. OBG and Paediatric lab. 6. Pre-clinical Science lab

Clinical Field:

Since the GNM School is under KPC Medical College & Hospital , students will have an ample scope of gaining excellent practical experience in basic nursing and as well as in speciality nursing practice, NICU, Obstetric and Gynae nursing experience will be provided in KPC hospital and Government hospital also.

Transportation:

The school will provide transportation facilities for taking students to attached hospitals as well as rural training centers ( Community Nursing ), escorted by our teaching facility

Residentiality:

The course residential; all students are required to stay in the accommodation to stay in the hospital accommodation provided by the Institution. Since it is a residential course for the convenience of the students as well as institution room / hostel of the respective students may be altered/change as per the necessary and requirement of the institution. The room/hostel allotted to the respective students shall be at the sole discretion of the management / institution.

Extra Curricular Activities:

Effort will be made to identify talents and inclinations for constructive development. These include. Extra curricular Activities such as self defense activity (Karate) music, plays, dance and elocution, debating, quiz, painting and drawing preparing wall magazines etc.
