Dr. Gautam Kumar Joardar is a Professor in Community Medicine since 2011. He worked in rural West Bengal under the West Bengal Health Services; later worked in the faculty of Community Medicine in different medical colleges under the West Bengal Medical Education Service. He worked as a WHO Fellow in the field of “Malaria Control” at the CDC, Atlanta and Tulane School of Public Health, New Orleans, USA. He is also a Fellow of Indian Public Health Association. He is a member of the Institutional Ethics Committee of College of Medicine & Sagore Dutta Hospital, Kolkata-700 058.

Professional Achievement

  • Graduated from R.G.Kar Medical College, Kolkata in 1977
  • Completed his post graduation ( M.S in ENT) IN 1982 from Calcutta University.Joined W.B.H.S in 1982.
  • Joined W.B.M.E.S. in 1990. Worked as ENT Surgeon.
  • He was the President of A.O.I (WB)
  • He had successfully organised MID A.O.I. CON in 2015

Dr. Sumit Kumar Basu retired as Professor & Head of Department of R.G.Kar Medical College, Kolkata in February 2019. He participated in National Teacher Training Course from B.H.U. IN 1997.. Presently, he is attached with K.P.C. Medical College & Hospital since March 2019.
